Not too long ago, I picked up my first-ever pair of Golden Goose sneakers (and shared them first in this post!), and received a number of questions about them since then. So many that I decided it was finally time to do a full write-up! I’ve also worn them enough now that I can confidently speak to their craftsmanship, and a variety of other factors about them, which you’ll see broken down further.

Where did you purchase them?
I ordered mine from Cettire when they had a great deal going on.
Placed my order on the 28th of April and they were delivered by April 30th, so the shipping was really quick which was a major plus
How expensive are they?
When I grabbed my pair in April, I paid $385.43, but their regular golden goose men price is around $514.
These sneakers typically cost anywhere between $400–$1,700, depending on how decked out they are.
How does the sizing run?
I’d say they fit true to size, based on my pair.
They haven’t stretched noticeably, so if you’re between sizes, I’d go up a size
How comfy are they?
They required minimal break-in time..
How durable are they?
Because they already have scuffs, I didn’t worry about scuffing them more. I’ve worn them all over the city, and they’ve held up beautifully. The laces are intact, and the shape stayed solid. Because they already look worn, I don’t really notice if there’s new wear and tear.
How are they vs. other brands?
These are the best sneakers I own. I’ve tried others like Vejas, but Golden Goose are just on another level. They have a hidden arch lift that adds support and height — making your legs look longer. Also, they’re not mass-produced, so each pair is one of a kind. And the shine on mine? Absolutely gorgeous.
Would you buy again?
Totally! But I’d recommend waiting for a sale. They’re expensive, so getting them on sale is a better idea. Still, I think they’re worth a few hundred bucks, especially if you get a pair you love. Mine have pink glitter, but a neutral version would also go with everything.

Yes, they do run true to size, at least for me. They haven’t stretched much, so if you’re in the middle, I’d go up a size

Very comfy, and only took a few hours to break in.
Do they hold up well?
Because they already have scuffs, I didn’t worry about wearing them outside. I’ve worn them all over the city, and they still look great. Nothing has torn, and the leather hasn’t stretched.
Since the aesthetic is distressed, I don’t really notice if there’s new wear and tear.
